“Looking for community, creativity, and a chance to center yourself during this time of social distancing? Join a TWC free virtual creative writing workshop. The TWC provides expressive writing workshops to various communities and groups. We are providing a pilot series of four workshops, starting on October 28 from 2:30-4:30 in collaboration with Deaf Spectrum. No writing experience is necessary. Our mission is to inspire voice and empower.

In collaboration with the Toronto Writers Collective, Deaf Spectrum presents a free creative writing workshop. providing a pilot series of three workshops:

Wednesday November 11 from 2:30-4:30 with captioning

Wednesday November 18 from 2:30-4:30 with captioning

Wednesday December 2 from 2:30-4:30 with captionioning AND ASL!

Facilitated by writers well-versed in the Amherst method, the workshops will provide a safe and inclusive setting for both new and experienced writers to explore their written voice.

Interested? Register here on eventbrite. Zoom accommodates PC and Mac computers, tablets, as well as phone-in options. You will have the choice of being seen and heard (Video and Audio ON), or being heard only (Video OFF, Audio ON).

Participation is limited and will be confirmed on a first come first serve basis.
