The Lovelocks House Concert

Create Meaningful Change in our City

Wednesday, November 15 – 5:30 – 8:00 pm

56 Hampton Avenue (Broadview and Danforth)

We invite you to an evening sure to inspire! Mixing soaring vocals, sweet harmonies, and sultry strings, complemented with an infectiously high-energy stage presence The Lovelocks: Ali Raney and Zoë Sparrow, join the Toronto Writers Collective for an evening of inspirational music and storytelling. Celebrated by RocketHub as “crowd funding pioneers in the world of country music in Canada”, the Lovelocks will share how they continue to build their music and brand and how they leverage community to support and scale philanthropy through social media.

The Toronto Writers Collective uses expressive writing to positively impact the diverse and underserved populations across communities in the GTA.  Established on a shoestring budget, over 600 people have experienced the power of their own words, creating positive life-changing results. We need your help to leverage this simple yet profound concept to meet a real demand.

The evening also features several of the authors from the TWC’s first anthology: Front Lines: Voices From The Toronto Writers Collective. (quote from Susan)

You can be a meaningful catalyst to the growth and impact of the Toronto Writers Collective. Every dollar received is used to develop our programming for disadvantaged communities.  This is an opportunity for you to do more than write a check – you empower meaningful change in lives that matter.
