JOIN OUR ADVISORY COUNCIL

In 2023, Writers Collective of Canada launched an Advisory Council (AC) to provide WCC with thought leadership on our programming, policies, and practices. The Advisory Council aims to reflect the diversity of voice that we find in our workshops and to gather input from the partners and populations WCC serves; it supports WCC in engaging with individuals, communities, and organizations. 

A voluntary position on the AC involves attending two meetings a year as well as being available to share points of view on an ongoing basis. 

WCC is currently looking to expand our Advisory Council to welcome members with specific expertise that align with organizational priorities including:

• French language inclusion and expansion of bilingual and French programming
• Social Prescribing
• Fundraising
