Greg Wilburn (he/him)
Ottawa, ON
Greg has worked for over thirty years as an analyst and executive in the public service – devoting much of that time to the development, passage and implementation of environmental law and policy. Writing has always been a crucial part of his work. In his spare time he worked within the literary community helping to build literacy and life skills with folks from within his home community in Canada’s capital Ottawa.
Since retiring he’s been even more active in his community, working as a literary volunteer and facilitator with the Writers Collective of Canada. Retirement has meant more freedom for crafts, community and creative writing. The Writers Collective has been an important opportunity to share with the community and help others find their voices. As someone who has direct experience with mental illness he knows how important creativity and self expression can be in wellbeing and recovery. He looks forward to seeing you at a workshop soon.
