Elizabeth joined WCC in the winter of 2025-2026. Elizabeth enjoys delving into words, poetry, nature, and science.

“I am drawn to WCC by its atmosphere of inclusion, acceptance, and affirmation. Writing has been a vital tool in my personal healing, helping me process thoughts & feelings about wanting the world to be a better place, and my place in all of it.”

She hopes to write with others about climate anxiety/grief; exploring creative responses to cope with ecological breakdown and environmental destruction.

She enjoys connecting with community through conversation, writing, dancing, and tabletop games. You might also find her connecting with nature, perhaps walking by the river and noting observations as a community scientist.
