Jen began as a WCC facilitator in September 2025, and has facilitated WCC workshops at the Hazel McCallion (Mississauga Central) Library since then. In the library workshops, Jen has experienced a connectedness and warmth amongst strangers that she hasn’t witnessed anywhere else. She found that participants joined week after week to be inspired, express themselves without inhibition, and grasp the highs and lows of the human experience.

Jen’s love of reading and writing started at an early age. She was first published at the age of eight, and in addition to being a writer, she is an editor of fiction and creative non-fiction, and an Editors Canada executive. She is a mom of two boys, with whom she loves to explore nature around the Greater Toronto Area.
