Nagad is a Mental Health Outreach Worker and has worn several hats in the community, from clinical research, community development and workshop facilitation. Driven by her commitment to address barriers around accessing mental health services, Nagad focuses her work on closing the gaps around accessing services for Black community members.”

Nagad has run both virtual and in-person WCC workshops at Somerset West Community Health Centre since 2020, some in collaboration with the AIDS committee of Ottawa.
