Writers Collective of Canada is thrilled to invite you to Re/writing Connection: an immersive conversation hosted in collaboration with Toronto International Festival of Authors on Sunday, November 2.

Re/writing Connection represents an important opportunity to showcase the role of art in Canadians’ lives: how writing and creativity can build strength and resilience, ignite community and address the national crisis in isolation. Join established and emerging writers in conversation about the power of writing and storytelling to transform lives.

Guest Panelists include:

  • Lillian Allen, Toronto’s Poet Laureate
  • Shaughnessy Bishop-Stall, Author and Teacher University of Toronto
  • Peta-Gaye Nash, Author and WCC Writer
  • Susan Ksiezopolski, Author and WCC Writer

At WCC, we know that stories have the power to bridge isolation and build healthier communities. With every workshop, our writers improve their mental health, combat loneliness, positively shape their own lives and influence the lives of others.

Event Location: Room 003 Northrop Frye Hall,
