Aldonna Stremecki is a former French, English and Drama teacher and school theatre director. Aldonna collaborated on school outreach initiatives, bringing art, drama and literacy programs to young people in South Africa’s Eastern Cape.

A chance request from a WCC team member to assist with a page-to-stage project at a community centre, led to training as a facilitator, and then joining the WCC team as Special Projects Associate in the Winter of 2022. Aldonna actually loves school! And theatre – directing, acting, viewing! Just being in one is thrilling. And reading. Lots. Long walks, especially lakeside, provide the best time to reflect on the things for which she is grateful, especially family and friends, and the opportunity to support the magnificent voices of the WCC!
