Mara Koven-Gelman (she/her)

Mara is a writer and long-time non-profit professional in Toronto, Boston, and Buffalo. She has published in the Jewish Women’s Archive, Globe & Mail, Buffalo News, New York Times letters to editor, Baltimore Jewish Times, and The Jewish Advocate, and has edited an anthology, Mourning has Broken: A Collection of Creative Writing about Grief and Healing. She is currently a facilitator with the Writer’s Collective of Canada having led groups in Berkshires and Buffalo.
