Maria became a WCC Facilitator in 2022, after engaging with WCC workshops as a writer during the pandemic. 

Maria credits writing as an integral part of her life and the primary means of her creative expression, which has only expanded since becoming a WCC Facilitator.

“Thanks to WCC, I am part of an encouraging network of other writers I can call on to share new ideas and first, second, … twentieth and final drafts with. Being a facilitator has made me a better more empathetic listener and given me the confidence to share more of my writing with others.”
