ONTARIO TRILLIUM FOUNDATION SEED GRANT ANNOUNCEMENT

On Friday, January 26, 2018 – 2:30-3:30 pm, Peter Tabuns, MPP for Toronto-Danforth will be at an event, hosted by the Toronto Writers Collective in recognition of an Ontario Trillium Foundation SEED Grant to research the TWC’s expressive writing program and how it benefits disadvantaged and marginalized communities.

MPP Tabuns and Daphne Simon, Toronto Grant Review Team, Ontario Trillium Foundation will attend the event and will formally present the Toronto Writers Collective with a plaque to celebrate the work done by researchers from Ryerson University as a result of the grant from the Foundation in 2017.
Susan Turk Mozer, the Founder of the Toronto Writers Collective and Associate Professor, Kelly McShane will be talking about the program and the impact it has in the community. Writers from several workshops will also be in attendance to share their inspiring, powerful stories.
