Executive Director, WarnerMedia Access Canada

Deanna Cadette (she/her) is a seasoned screen-based media professional, dedicated to advancing the careers of Canadian talent, and building an inclusive industry through strategic relationships and innovative programs.

She serves as the Executive Director of WarnerMedia Access Canada which builds career pathways between WarnerMedia and Canadian film, TV and digital talent from underrepresented communities.

Her career in entertainment spans a breadth of roles and disciplines, including equity and inclusion professional at the CBC, policy analyst at the Writers Guild of Canada (WGC), director of the former WGC/Bell Media Diverse Screenwriters Program, and proudly starting as a camera assistant with the Cinematographers Guild (I.A.T.S.E. 677).

Deanna’s professional experience is supported by an MA in Public Policy, a BA in Journalism & Film Studies and a Certificate in Project Management.
