Kook became a facilitator with WCC in June 2024. He tells us that writing with WCC always gives him a sense of calmness, belonging, and comfort.

The first in his family to enter middle school, Kook became the first McCall MacBain Scholar from China. Along his journey, Kook has embraced three missions: (1) bridging the digital gaps, (2) promoting mindfulness for well-being, and (3) broadening the horizons of First-Generation and Low-Income students.

Kook is studying at McGill University in Montreal. He is also an early riser, daily meditator, biography reader, poetry lover, nature observer, story teller, question asker, and avid foodie. The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho is his Bible. He always believes that communication generates surprises.
