I forgive you Mr. White Man

I forgive you for taking my people from our land

I forgive you for tearing us away

From all that we knew, name, religion,

I forgive you Mr. White Man for taking us from our land Mr White Man

For changing our names, our religion and home

I forgive you for all the pain, suffering and shame

I forgive you Mr. White man for being a selfish SOB for gain

I forgive you the lives you took in vain

I forgive you for all that you have done

For to forgive you is not to forget but

To forgive is to set you free
